Chad Vinkle is ready to take his Northern Ontario sound to the masses. Back-beatin' acoustic rock to lower tempo introspectives about family and life round out Chad's 14 song CD debut. Reminiscent of guitar based rockers ala Tom Petty and John Mellencamp to the warm contemporary sound of Blue Rodeo “The Procrastination Project” will be released December 2006. It is the culmination of many years of honing his skills as a songwriter and musician and his personal life. Chad had been dabbling in music for many years and has played in cover bands but it wasn’t until his daughter was born that he had even more inspiration to go back into writing.

The title of the CD, “The Procrastination Project” comes from numerous delays within his personal and professional life. "I was born in Saskatchewan, raised in Manitoba and started my own family in Ontario" Chad says, “with the busy schedule of work and life my CD would often take the back seat to other things.” After a three year writing and recording period (produced at Atomic Digital in Sudbury, ON), Chad is ready to share his procrastination’s creation with the world.

To kick off the release of the CD, Chad Vinkle is preparing to give a gift to music lovers during the holidays. The song, “Christmas At Home In Canada” is now available as a free download from his official site. The inspiration for this song stems from something all people can connect with. Chad explains he “wrote this song for people who can’t be home at Christmas as well as for people who are home, to make sure you are thankful for it.”

After your first taste of Chad’s musical stylings, share this festive song with your loved ones during the holidays - you’re sure to be able to connect with the 14 songs on this adult contemporary debut just as much and enjoy them all year long.
